1. Two-Tier Shipping Architecture
Due to biological differences in product shelf life, Kinow Cultures maintains a strict two-tier delivery model:
- Tier 1 — Local Perishable Delivery (Fresh Gourmet Mushrooms): Fresh oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus / djamor) are picked at dawn and delivered in climate-controlled or express local couriers. Available exclusively to verified local pincodes at launch.
- Tier 2 — Ambient Pan-India Shipping: Grain spawn, dehydrated mushroom powders, natural raw honey, and home grow kits are packed in protective sealed eco-packaging and dispatched across India via reliable logistics partners.
2. Pincode Serviceability & Incompatible Cart Rules
Our online checkout automatically verifies the delivery destination against authorized local pincodes. If your cart contains fresh oyster mushrooms and an unsupported delivery pincode is entered, the system will prevent checkout and instruct you to either provide an authorized local address or remove perishable items to allow standard courier dispatch.
3. Dispatch Timelines & Packaging
Fresh Harvests: Dispatched on scheduled harvesting days (typically within 24 hours of dawn flush). Packed in breathable, moisture-balancing punnets.
Pure Grain Spawn: Sealed in heavy-gauge polypropylene autoclavable bags equipped with 0.2-micron gas-exchange filter patches to ensure respiratory health in transit.
